Jopenkerk Hoofddorp Distillery

The Netherlands

"It is great to have the opportunity to run a business in such a beautiful building…"

The story remains the same, but as of 2016, restaurant, distillery and tasting room the Hoofdvaartkerk has been renamed Jopenkerk Hoofdorp. It is housed in a beautifully renovated historic building, the oldest church of Haarlemmermeer. This peculiar distillery in Hoofddorp produces artisan gins and liqueurs. The grain for the gin is ground in a typical Dutch windmill which is right around the corner.

Former owner Stephan Bosma bought the church in 2011 and converted it into what it is today, quite a special venue to eat and drink!
